Ladies,
Yes, the Bible calls you to submit to your husbands. I know that in today’s cultural climate, the very word “submit” may feel oppressive or unfair. But I want to assure you, it’s not. Let’s take a step back and consider what Scripture calls men to do for their wives: We, as husbands, are called to die for you.
While the call for women is submission, the call for men is sacrifice—to lay down our lives for our wives, just as Christ laid down His life for the Church (Ephesians 5:25). When both of these commands are embraced and lived out within the marriage covenant, something extraordinary happens: a union that reflects God’s love and grace, one that builds His Kingdom right within the home.
This is where true transformation begins. When husbands and wives fulfill their biblical roles, it shapes a family dynamic that speaks louder than any political agenda or social movement. Children who witness this kind of love and respect will grow up with a profound understanding of God’s order, and they will carry that witness into the world.
Real change doesn’t start with political action plans or legislative reform. It starts in our homes. It starts when we choose to live out biblical principles, first and foremost, in our marriages and families. When these principles are brought into the public square, only then will we see governments and societies change for the glory of God and the good of mankind.
So, ladies, embrace your role with confidence and grace. And men, be willing to die to yourselves daily for your wives. When we do this, we aren’t just impacting our families—we’re laying the foundation to change the entire world.
This is the power of a Christ-centered marriage. This is where God’s Kingdom is built.
